LOCAL-FIRST GMAIL TRIAGE

Find the mail that matters.
Leave the rest on the island.

Inbox Island helps you spot messages that need a reply or attention—without sending your inbox to an Inbox Island server.

A CALMER FIRST PASS

Three decisions. No inbox rewrite.

01

Reply

Surfaces conversations where someone is waiting for you.

02

Attention

Highlights messages worth reading or acting on, even when no reply is due.

03

Clear

Lets the rest recede without modifying, labeling, deleting, or marking mail read.

Inbox Island is advisory. Gmail remains the source of truth.

THE PRIVACY BOUNDARY

Your inbox stays between Google and your browser.

No Inbox Island server

Mail is fetched directly from Google into the extension and classified locally.

Read only

Google's restricted gmail.readonly scope can read mailbox content, but cannot send, edit, label, archive, delete, or mark mail read.

Explicit every time

You choose the Google account, confirm the address, and start each bounded sync yourself.

Short-lived access

OAuth tokens are kept in memory for the run, never refreshed or persisted by Inbox Island.

Minimal local state

Only account-scoped triage results are stored locally—not raw bodies, HTML, attachments, summaries, or OAuth credentials.

Built for auditability

Public source, exact releases, build instructions, and verification details are planned for launch.

CURRENT STATUS

Private pilot first.
Public release after proof.

Arc and Dia compatibility, Google authorization, exact release artifacts, and the public source repository are being verified before distribution.
